ESP System (Electronic
Sense of Position)
The patent-pending ESP™ System detects how the pig is
positioned on the scale and signals entrance gates to close at just
the right time – not too early or too late. This contributes
to a positive experience for the pigs learning to use the system.
Other scales rely on timing devices, electronic eyes or trigger weights
to signal gates. Frequent cleaning and frequent repositioning are
needed with electronic eyes to makes sure they work correctly. With
trigger weight systems, the weight that 's programmed in must be
continuously updated as pigs grow. With the ESP System, there's no
need for adjustments - the scales knows what to do regardless of
the size or speed of the pig.
