The story of Dave and Matt Kneller’s nursery makes me smile — it is very gratifying to know the Farmweld Flooring System™ has stood the test of time. That’s because that is exactly what we set out to do when we introduced the orange panels 12 years ago. We wanted to manufacture a high quality panel that would not crack, chip, break, tip, bend or distort out of shape even after years of heavy use. And we wanted to design a highly stable support system that could withstand the heavy loads and the constant weight shifting of active, growing nursery pigs.

From the selection of materials to the development of our molding process, we aimed at delivering unyielding durability. The result is a great portfolio of stories like the Knellers’ nursery. The difference between their 11 year old panels and a new panel is almost indistinguishable. That’s exciting to me!

I’m also very proud of our other products and our accomplishments and reputation in pen design and layouts. Farmweld’s Engineering Department approaches every job with a practical sense of creativity to determine the best possible solutions for pig comfort, production efficiency and operator-ease.
