With A 5,000-Sow Expansion, Bible Pork marches on as The Maschhoffs exclusive gilt multiplier
Bible Pork, Louisville, IL, expanded to 12,000 sows as the exclusive gilt multiplier for The Maschhoffs. Owner Matt Bible and Production Manager Kevin Van Dyke had no complaints working with Farmweld to supply the equipment. “On a 5,000 sow job, that is huge,” he says. In addition to farrowing crates, gating and other equipment, Farmweld built custom-sized gestation stalls for specific Parity-1 and 2 and Parity-0 rooms.

“I Wouldn't Put Any Other Flooring In”
Mark Sturtevant says he can easily see the quality difference in the Farmweld Flooring System. Designed to last, Sturtevant says Farmweld’s panels have just the right thickness at pressure points and the beveled underneath edges keep dirt from collecting. The orange color makes the panels easy to clean, too. Sturtevant operates a 3,300-head nursery with his father, Dennis, and brother, Brian, in Shannon, IL.
