Built to Last
Durability was a main goal when this Silver Lake, IN, contract nursery was built eleven years ago. The original equipment is still going strong and current owner Matt Kneller expects the flooring, feeders and other equipment to last for years to come.

A MODEL FOR SMOOTH TRANSITIONS
Farmweld helped Iowa producers Dan and Dianne Nelson redesign their partially-slatted farrowing barn into a modern nursery and their former gestation facility into a finishing facitity. The Farmweld Flooring System was a competitively priced and high quality option for the new nursery floor and Farmweld feeders were installed in both facilities. PRE-WEANING MORTALITY DROPS
Superior quality and unmatched customer service earned Farmweld repeat business when the Koehl family of Hancock, MN, selected equipment for a new 3,500-head sow unit. The unit features Farmweld’s new 24” x 24” (610 mm x 610 mm) plastic panel which allowed the Koehls the flexibility to build 5’6” (1.676M) wide farrowing platforms with 21” (533.40mm) creep areas.
